Hi everyone! I hope your week hasn't been too bad, being the first week of class. It's my first summer term at Drexel and let me say that I'm glad that this class sounds like it will be interesting. I don't really keep up with politics. I only hear about it when I come home to Baltimore when my dad keeps CNN, MSNBC, or FOX News on ALL day. Anyway, I hope I'll learn a lot from this so that I can talk about politics and sound really smart. Well that's not the only reason why I think this blog thing will be beneficial for me. I'm also hoping to learn more about each parties and decide on which party suits me best. I want to vote in November knowing that I am confident about my choice, especially because it will be the first time I will get to vote since I just became a citizen two months ago.
I look forward to reading everyone's opinions in the next couple of weeks!!!
Choose 08...intro...
They always say, "this is the most important blah blah of our time."
Well maybe it is, and maybe it isn't. But this team of Drexel University students will get into it summer of 2008 (while we're not at the beach, or soaking up the free AC at the library)...
Get into IT.
Into the nooks and crannies, the issues the media has forgotten because a cat got stuck in a tree, or a congressman was caught with his pants down.
Issues not invective.
