Choose 08...intro...

They always say, "this is the most important blah blah of our time."

Well maybe it is, and maybe it isn't. But this team of Drexel University students will get into it summer of 2008 (while we're not at the beach, or soaking up the free AC at the library)...

Get into IT.

Into the nooks and crannies, the issues the media has forgotten because a cat got stuck in a tree, or a congressman was caught with his pants down.

Issues not invective.

Cindy McCain

I'm not really sure how to react to this article because it seemed to me that in the effort to make her sound like an independent and head strong woman, like many people see Hillary Clinton, they show the many many life experiences she has had that don't sit to well with many people. She was seeing a married man with a family, was addicted to pain killers, and even turned her back on politics many times in the past. I can understand how she may feel resentful to the media because of all they have said but come on. All Hilary was put through with the "stained dress," she never turned her back on politics and especially her husband. Then again you can say she had her own private agenda but thats a whole other blog in itself. I did like how involved Mrs. McCain is in many different community aspects such as the over seas aid. Another plus would be her experience in the special education field and bringing her in the White House would give her much more influence in not only special education but education itself. Two of my sisters are special ed. teachers and I'm sure they would love the extra attention to their programs. Overall I liked the article and am glad I know so much more about our potential first lady but I think we could all do without the corny over emphasis on the story telling such as how "Cindy slammed her fist on the table." But then again, that's politics today.
