Choose 08...intro...

They always say, "this is the most important blah blah of our time."

Well maybe it is, and maybe it isn't. But this team of Drexel University students will get into it summer of 2008 (while we're not at the beach, or soaking up the free AC at the library)...

Get into IT.

Into the nooks and crannies, the issues the media has forgotten because a cat got stuck in a tree, or a congressman was caught with his pants down.

Issues not invective.

20 something voices start June 24th.

Mrs McCain

I wouldn't try to claim to know much about her, I didn't even know her name till very recently, but seeing the posts by others, and getting her gist from some conversations I have had or from the news, she seems like a very strong woman, handled stroke, raised her children almost all by herself, and is very independent in general(financial and otherwise).

Not that I can relate to her, given that I am still young and I barely have a feel of life but she is definitely someone I would want to be like when I get older (I know its cliched and all), without the stroke, loneliness and illness that is, but I guess these things made her the strong woman that she is today, just like Hillary Clinton, she has gone through phases in her life that only strong women can come through making them stronger. nights they felt lonely, days they wanted to give up, days they felt like they where single moms, days of possibly wanting to end their lives.

Both women are very independent and that's what strikes me the most about them, even though I believe Hillary faked her marital strength, she has shown young women how to be strong, given young women and older women hope, she has set a role for women all over the world to follow.

If there is nothing else we can credit them for, the hope(false or real) they have given women, let us hope the women dont snap out of it if its false :o
