Choose 08...intro...
They always say, "this is the most important blah blah of our time."
Well maybe it is, and maybe it isn't. But this team of Drexel University students will get into it summer of 2008 (while we're not at the beach, or soaking up the free AC at the library)...
Get into IT.
Into the nooks and crannies, the issues the media has forgotten because a cat got stuck in a tree, or a congressman was caught with his pants down.
Issues not invective.

Patriots - Horror Film Movie Pitch
The year is 2012. The once proud, liberated nation of the United States has become the most decadent, ruthless world-power history has ever seen. Martial law rings true as the nation’s anthem, and one by one, the military is hunting down any and all personal freedoms that could break their reign over the nation. Wiretaps, mass security sweeps, and even mandatory DNA identification – all for the safety and security of the nation – are at the heart of what is defined as being an American citizen. The military has total and utter control over everything, and willfully abuse this power with intractable discretion. Mass massacres go virtually unnoticed. Hate, suspicion, and rampant paranoia rule the streets. The nation is fueled on fear. The Underground counterculture, an organization that fights for personal freedom and the rights of all Americans, is America’s last hope. In an epic and glorious, bloody slaughter, the military works laboriously and viciously to mow down and destroy these last free-thinking spirits. Anyone who isn’t a supporter is a traitor, and traitors must be punished.

As I read your movie pitch, and saw the words "epic and glorious, bloody slaughter," I automatically thought of "300". The idea of the military killing traitors the way the three hundred soldiers killed their enemies is scary. I wouldn't want to be killed and stacked with other dead people as a wall. Anyway, how would the military go upon killing the traitors? Do they go into their houses and start killing them and their families? Or is it more secretive, like the government always is?
The basis for the idea is the Holocaust. So, much of the 'exterminations' would be ruthless, immoral experiments related to genetic testing/cloning, as well as random acts of malicious murder. "Traitors" would most applicably refer to the underground movement mentioned, and this group, at the time of this film, would be the main target of the military.
