Choose 08...intro...

They always say, "this is the most important blah blah of our time."

Well maybe it is, and maybe it isn't. But this team of Drexel University students will get into it summer of 2008 (while we're not at the beach, or soaking up the free AC at the library)...

Get into IT.

Into the nooks and crannies, the issues the media has forgotten because a cat got stuck in a tree, or a congressman was caught with his pants down.

Issues not invective.

8 Crazy Truck Drivers

http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=0n49qkoXoY0

John McCain is elected president in 2008. Despite saying that he would fund research in finding alternatives to using oil he starts giving money to companies to drill on U.S. land. McCain becomes greedy and decides to quietly become the president of 3 of the oil companies. 2013 rolls around and Americans become tired of not seeing any relief from the high oil prices. Unemployment has doubled and hunger becomes an even bigger issue. McCain refuses to fund any nuclear, wind or solar power projects presented to him. Down in Georgia a group of 8 trucks drivers come together once a week to play poker and drink. They all have recently lost their jobs due to companies going bankrupt. After much deliberation they decide to go on a killing spree. They first target their families and friends believing that they are putting them out of their misery. They then spread out to various states and massacre anyone on the newly developed oil drilling sites. They are using machine guns, machetes, and any weapon available. Soon after they start targeting poor people that they felt was suffering. The killings go on for weeks and make major headlines across the world. This completely destroys any morale left in the country and leaves everyone fearful. No one walks outside at night and the board up their homes. After killing hundreds of men, woman and children, the men felt they had accomplished their goals and they slowly kill themselves one by one.

Completely astonished about what was happening 3 engineers from Philadelphia quickly create a new nuclear energy source. Fearful of what people may do next they rush the production process. They create a machine that will power people’s homes, buildings and vehicles. The new machines become popular and start to be seen in people’s homes. The 3 men decide to make the new source affordable so that most people can get one. With American’s so happy to be able to eat and sleep more comfortably nobody notices the affects the source starts having on people. The movie end with signs showing that the new source has taken a toll on peoples bodies. It enables for a sequel.
