Choose 08...intro...

They always say, "this is the most important blah blah of our time."

Well maybe it is, and maybe it isn't. But this team of Drexel University students will get into it summer of 2008 (while we're not at the beach, or soaking up the free AC at the library)...

Get into IT.

Into the nooks and crannies, the issues the media has forgotten because a cat got stuck in a tree, or a congressman was caught with his pants down.

Issues not invective.

Invasion of the Deranged Hanger Babies

http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=DpGUiEWZDUI

What the Republican Party thought was a major victory for the preservation of human life has gone horribly wrong. McCain vowed to overturn Roe v. Wade and he was willing to do whatever it took to deliver his promise to the American people. Shortly after McCain is inaugurated into office in 2009, two of the liberal Supreme Court Justices, Ginsberg and Stevens, are killed on their way to work in unexplainable accidents. They are swiftly replaced by conservative ones and Roe v. Wade is shortly overturned. Since the Patriot Act created a Big Brotheresque society, underground abortion clinics are not able to form. Women are left no choice but to try to give themselves abortions using the hanger method. Unfortunately, not only do women begin to die from infections and loss of blood, but a new race of babies, referred to as hanger-babies, is born. The newborns are sent off to a remote island in the Pacific Ocean, where they begin to breed a new generation of hanger-babies.

A century passes, and America’s values are yet to change, with Republicans controlling all branches of the government (executive, judicial, legislative). The hanger people are fed up with their seclusion, and decide that it is time to return to America and have a coup d’etat. In an epic suicide bomber battle, the deranged hanger people are able to kill off all the Republicans, creating an all-democrat republic. In their attempt to revenge their exile and establish a one-party state dominated by the Democrats, they only contributed to the further demise of the United States. With no opposition, people were unfortunately no longer willing to take a stance for change, knowing that change would actually occur. It became clear that the people were more comfortable living in a bipartisan state with no change than under an authoritarian system, and now all chaos was about to break lose...
